Bob Henry
AuthorFor Artists and Art Lovers
A HandbookBorn in New York in 1933, Bob attended the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn but soon realized that he was ‘studying at the wrong place for the wrong thing.’ Eventually, he became close friends with a more creative crowd and realized that art was a ticket to a more welcoming counterculture.
He then went on to study at the Hans Hofmann School of Art from 1952 to 1955, which then sent him down a long, winding and ultimately fulfilling career in the creative world. Among his many stints include teaching at the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill, the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.
